Metaphone

The metaphone consists of a body with 13 adapters on the top to attach any sound body to it. It is therefore a modular instrument. As basic equipment, different sets of plates can be screwed onto it. These can be struck, rubbed or vibrated with a bow. This vibration, whether from sound plates or from other instruments or objects, is transferred to the metal sound body and changes its basic sound by making it more spectral, fuller, more spatial and longer.
