Violin

The LUNASON violin belongs to the ‘Metasonic Instruments’ family. The structural dimensions, for example those of the fingerboard, have been adopted from traditional violins. As a result, this violin is familiar and easy to play for violinists. In terms of sound, however, the instrument differentiates itself with an unmistakable overtone spectrum. The body of the violin is made of thin metal. The fingerboard is made of ebony and the frame is made of carbon fibre. The violin has a unique sound. Its natural, purely instrumentally produced sound sometimes seems as if it has been electronically modified.
